Madonna della Neve

From Sommacologna pass a narrow stretch through the houses in the village and take path 268.2 on the right that leads steeply up to La Vigna and Camp del Pra'. At the fork, leave the trail and go downhill to the right towards Remoscolo. The path enters a forest of beautiful hues, especially in spring and autumn. Along the way you can admire the panorama over Sondalo and the imposing Morelli hospital. After crossing the small bridge over the Rio stream you reach the outskirts of the hospital at the entrance to Pavilion 8. From here a steep trail climbs left up to Roncale. After the mountain huts of Roncale you reach the Madonna della Neve.
